Your First Visit

Getting started with Eleventh.

Eleventh separates your account (you, as a person) from organisations (the businesses you work in — a DJ business, a venue, an agency). Your account can belong to multiple organisations simultaneously,

Signing in

There's no password to remember (unless you want one). Enter your email at https://prod.eleventhapp.com/login and we'll send you a secure login link. Click it, and you're in.

The first time you sign in, we'll ask you to setup your account. The process looks something like this:

Once you've finished setting up your account, you'll be sent to the onboarding flow. Here, you can decide how you'd like to use Eleventh, either by joining an existing organisation, or creating your very own!

Onboarding

If you're not yet a member of an organisation, you'll be sent to the onbaording page every time you sign in.

Create a new company

Choose this option if you're the first person in your business to use Eleventh. You'll start the onbaording wizard where you'll tell Eleventh more about your business, including:

• Basic details (business name, registred address, phone number, email address)
• What kind of feautres you need form Eleventh (we sometimes refer to this as a 'Feature Stream')
• What plan you'd like to use.

Once you've selected this, we'll take you to checkout for £1.00 to start your first month. The first month is always £1.00 - at the end of which, you can either continue your Eleventh journey, or walk away - no questions asked.

Join an existing company

Choose this option if you're working with a business that already uses Eleventh. You'll need an invite to their organisation, in the form of an email. You'll need to follow the instructions in that email (the button in onboarding is simply a guide of how it works)

Your Account vs. Your Organisation

Account

This is you. One email, one login, used across everything you do on Eleventh — even if you're involved with more than one organisation.

Organisation

This is the business — a supplier (DJ/Entetainer), a Venue, or an Agency. Organisations own bookings, quotes, documents, and everything else. Your account is a member of one or more organisations, each with its own role.

Roles within an Organisation

Eleventh uses a PBAC (Permission-based Access Control) system internally. This means that each user can have a very specifically fine-tuned set of permissions depending on what access to the system they need, versus what access they do not need.

We do provide some helpful presets to help you get started:

• Owner — full rights, manages billing (each organisation can have only one owner, and it's always the person who created the organisation. Ownership cannot be transferred at this time)
• Admin — full rights, manages members and settings
• Manager — managers bookings/quotes/docs
• Staff — general staff with access to view and manage bookings/quotes/invoices.

Are the defaults not what you're looking for? Change them! Eleventh offers deep customisation for access management, and you can find more information about this on the Organisation -> Permissions Management page.

Customers don't join an organisation — they access bookings direclty via magi clink or a lightweight Customer Portal account.

Can I Belong to More Than One Organisation?

Yes. Switch between organisations from your account menu — useful if you run a DJ business and manage a venue, for example.
