CRM Overview
How Eleventh's CRM is structured — Leads, Contacts, and Enquiries, and how they relate to each other.
Three Building Blocks.
Eleventh's CRM is built around three distinct entities, each serving a different purpose:
- Leads — prospective sales enquiries, tracked through custom pipelines
- Contacts — confirmed customers and other business relationships (suppliers, subcontractors, venues)
- Enquiries — the central record of a single "deal", linked to a Lead or a Contact
Leads
A Lead represents someone who hasn't been confirmed as a customer yet. Leads move through custom pipeslines — each organisation can define custom pipelines and within those, custom stages, to match how they actually sell. Leads also support custom fields, attachments, chat, and internal notes.
Contacts
A Contact represents a confirmed customer, or any othe rbusiness relationship worth tracking — a supplier, subcontractor, or venue. Contacts hold richer detail than Leads: multiple emails/phone numbers/addresses, marketing preferences, custom fields, attachments, chat, and internal notes.
Enquiries
An Enquiry is a container for a single ongoing conversation or opportunity — a "sales project" or "deal" — linked to whichever Lead or Contact it belongs to. Enquiries can be created manully or ingested automatically from a created email inbox, and hold outbound email correspondence tied to that specific matter.
How They Fit Together
A typical flow:
- Lead comes in
- An Enquiry is opened to track that specific conversation
- If it converts, the Lead is converted into a Contact, and the enquiry moves to the Contact automatically.
- Future Enquiries attach to the Contact instead.
Not every Enquiry needs a Lead or Contact already in place — but every Enquiry belongs to one or the other.
